Overview

The products registration by sellers is the basis to create new listings on marketplaces.

When the listing for that product already exists on a store powered by Olist, the product is grouped into that existing store's listing, establishing in-store competition between the sellers wishing to sell the product.

The products status transition flow is as follows:

The possible product statuses are:

• created: the product has been registered and it is ready to be sent to moderation
• moderation: the product is awaiting moderation by Olist
• rejected: the product has been rejected by Olist's moderation team. Corrections needed
• approved: the product has been approved by Olist's moderation team and it will be sent to marketplaces' moderation process
